Solar school leads green revolution

Sale Grammar School in Trafford, Manchester is about to become one of the county's most environmentally friendly when solar panels are installed on its roof as part of a renewable energy drive. The school is being given the panels, which are worth about £20,000, by the Co-operative Group, with the installation being undertaken by Europe's leading solar energy company Solarcentury.
