Get Solar For Your Kids School

All UK schools, from primary through to universities can apply for half price photovoltaics (PV) through Solar4Schools. Please encourage your children's Head Teacher, Principal or Bursar to fill in the application form.

The most appropriate roofs for solar are un-shaded, flat or pitched and south-facing, with minimal roof penetrations. Have a look to see if your children's school is suitable and if so, encourage their Head Teacher to apply. If they think that funding may be a problem ask them to apply anyway; Solar4Schools will offer advice about the best ways to raise additional funds.

We've designed a standard solar package for flat or pitched roofs and will help schools who wish to apply through the necessary feasibility, application and funding process. The grants are available immediately and interested parties should fill in the form as soon as possible to secure funding. NB: Only Head Teachers, Bursars, (Energy Managers in NI) and other authorised decision makers should fill in the form.

Don't forget to mention to Head Teachers that solar energy will lower their school's electricity bills and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
