All schools, from primary through to universities can apply for photovoltaics through Solar4Schools. Although solar photovoltaics (PV) are highly versatile and can be installed in a variety of ways, not every building is appropriate for solar because of some physical constraints.

The most appropriate roofs are un-shaded, flat or pitched and south facing, with minimal roof penetrations. Solarcentury have designed a standard package for flat or pitched roofs (enabling a 25% reduction against the price of traditional systems) and will help schools who wish to apply through the necessary feasibility, application and funding process.

The funding is available immediately and interested parties are invited to register by filling in the application form. NB: Only Head Teachers, Bursars, (Energy Managers in NI) and other authorised decision makers should fill in the form.
